Jeff received his bachelor’s degree in German language and literature from Brigham Young University in 2007. He then studied marketing strategy and research at the University of Colorado at Boulder – Leeds School of Business, earning a Master of Business Administration in 2010. In 2015 Jeff completed his Master of Arts in Professional Counseling at Liberty University.
Jeff is a Licensed Professional Counselor and is an approved treatment provider under the Colorado Department of Corrections ATP program. Jeff has been working in the counseling field since 2014, including an internship with LifeStar of Denver. He has since gone on to become the director of LifeStar of Northern Colorado.
Jeff has worked in a variety of industries. He has worked for Hewlett Packard in marketing, for Skywest Airlines as a ramp agent, for the National Association for Gun Rights as a senior policy analyst and lobbyist, and for Brigham Young University as both a researcher and an instructor. Jeff spends his downtime pursuing stories, whether of his own making (travel, photography, motorcycle riding) or consuming the stories others have to tell.
Jeff was previously the vice president of the board of directors for the Colorado Collegiate Umpire Association, where he performed both financial audits, and spearheaded CCUA’s training program as the executive director of the CCUA training camp. As President of the Board of Directors at the Rock Foundation, Jeff lends considerable breadth to fulfilling the mission of the Rock.
